Le Puy en Velay

Located at the heart of the Massif Central mountain range, Le Puy-en-Velay is set in a preserved environment perfectly suited for holding sporting events. Cyclists appreciate the small roads in the area. With a population of over 60,000, Le Puy is famous for its architecture and historical heritage. The cathedral is one of Unesco’s World Heritage sites. A starting point for the Santiago pilgrimage, Le Puy is well known for its lace, green lentils and verbena, and more than 600,000 tourists visit it every year.
