Fromentine
Located on the Vendée coast south of Bourgneuf bay, famous for the Vendée Atlantic oyster, Fromentine boasts the largest woods of the area, with trails suited for hiking, cycling as well as horseback riding.
Its finely sanded beaches, running over 7 km, are perfectly suited for swimming and all nautical activities.
Alongside the sea and forests, visitors can also roam the marshes with its rich wildlife. The “Daviaud”, an eco-museum with numerous exhibits devoted to the marshes of Brittany and Vendée, gives you the opportunity to learn more about the natural and cultural history of our region.
Gateway to the islands, Fromentine is only a bridge away from Noirmoutier, the Mimosa Island, or a boat ride away from Yeu Island, the Pearl of the Ocean.
